Wow! I'm exhausted just reading! You're gonna need to catch up on some sleep when you get back! You paint a very vivid picture - it sounds soooo exciting - I was dazzled by your description of the Gem palace!!

It's really cool to hear how much you wanna help people there and how many important contacts you're making to enable you to do it, and more. It's pure karma ;-)

And yeah, you "can you see your breath in the morning" here, in fact you can see your breath all day - it's ffffreezing! 28–30 degrees... I could do with some of that right now!

Hi Andrew thanks for your warnings, I have seen this now and it’s so sad. Also sorry for the lack of blogging but we have been so busy, so I’ve also got a video camera with me I’ve come up with the idea of doing a vox pop type of thing with the other finalists and ask them how this experience is affecting them, so you can see firsthand, how we are loving our experience, I’ve also been documenting all that we are doing and the people we are meeting!!! I hope you enjoy reading my last post

Hi Sissy

Glad to hear that you arrived safely and that the Park drivers were there to meet you all. Enjoy Delhi, it's a great city and Beatrice and Rwituja know it well.

I think B is planning a wee side trip to Khan Market for you guys - you have to visit FabIndia (especially as you are meeting them later) and there are some great jewellery stores, book stores and cafes, though most of them are on the first floor on the inner circle. I used to hang out there when I was living in Delhi a few years back.

Great to see your mother commenting on what you're up to. I hope that she's going to make it down to London for the awards ceremony in February.

In terms of the street kids - do watch out. In a way, the issue isn't them, it is their parents. When I first visited India I was told by a colleague that some kids are seriously injured (broken and lost limbs) by their parents as they then attract more sympathy (and money) as beggars. Not sure if it is true or not but not something that anybody would want to encourage.

Enjoy the rest of your time in Delhi. It is a wicked programme - fantastic roster of meetings - so keep us all posted as to what you think!
